The Jew's Views
Jewish People Are Preferred for Mental Health Research by The Johns Hopkins University School
Medical researchers prefer performing their studies on Jewish people, since they have more variations in their genes. Since Jewish people tend to merry within their circle, there are less variations in genes which let’s researchers have more narrow idea what exactly causes the problem. According to health care professionals, Jewish people have contributed enormously to advances in health care due to their participation in studies. And this extends to mental health as well.
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is conducting schizophrenia & bipolar test in their research & they prefer the participants to be Jewish as well for their studies. Jewish people are believed to suffer from mental illnesses the same as everybody else, so the lesser variation in genetics allows the professionals to narrow down the causes of these mental illnesses. While many Jewish people feel that they have done quite a lot for the community for health care improvements, The Johns Hopkins University School hopes that they will continue contributing & cooperating with medical health institutions to further improve the knowledge & develop better treatments for mental health patients.
